How much to charge for part time child care?
-
How much should I charge to keep 2 kids ages 4 months and 4 years. I will have them 3 days about 9-10 hours each week for their mother to attend college. The mother may ask me to keep them a fourth day occasionally so she can catch up on school work. I have two kids of my own that will be in school. The mother has chosen me over another in home provider because she knows that I will work with her older child to prepare her for kindergarten.

Answer:
Find out what local places are charging for day care, divide by 5 and charge for the 3-4 days you will have the children. If you are not licensed, I would discount 10-15%, but realize that you still have to report the income on your taxes. She will listing it as well to get the credit for it.
