Is it normal for your temp to stay low after ovulation?

?s about Basal Body Temp?

  • My basal body temp has been 98 and above since the end of last week. I went to the OB on Friday to get blood taken since I havent had a period since June 22nd and all the ovulation strips I have done havent shown I have ovulated. I did notice a week and half ago that I had the clear egg looking mucus. My ? is though....can my body temp be high if I just stay covered up all night and its warm in my room. Yes I know stupid ? but I just dont know what to think. First 2 babies I had, got pregant first month off of pills. and yes i do my temp first thing in the morning, I roll over shut the alarm off and then take my temp.

  • Answer:

Other answers

Yes, basal body temperature is affected by your surroundings. However, you should still have a clear thermal shift and if your temp is high for 18 days, then you are possibly pregnant. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2795d6
