Negative pregnancy test before missed period?

Missed period with 5 negative pregnancy test?

  • ok well I am about a week late on my period and I have taken 5 pregnancy tests and all five say Negative...which I havent taken one since the day after I missed my period. I had also gone to the doctor like 3 days before my period and I had been feeling sick like getting the flu being really tired blah blah blah so they did blood work to check my thyriod level, Vit A, Pregnancy etc. Well everything came back good and they said I wasnt pregnant. But it was even before my missed period. So what could be wrong....could I be pregnant??? I am hoping I am...so baby dust for me.... ANY ANSWERS WOULD BE HELPFUL!!!

    i had talked to my sister and she said she had that problem before. Actually twice. One time she was really stressed and then she had her period. The other she did the same u did, but 2 weeks later she still had not had her period so she went back to the doctor and found out she was pregnant. So even doctors are wrong every now and again. I would say wait about 5-9 days before calling the doctor again. And try to relax. Hope this helps.

It may just be stress, many woman and girls are late on there period when there stressed,

You really need to relax and try not to get so stressed things happen when you least expect them to so stop getting yourself tied up in knots . I am sure that when you are in a calmer state then your body will settle and then you wil conceive, when we are agitated our bodies produce hormones that will effect your chances of conceiving so take some time out and chill.

It could be the stress, but sometimes if they run a qualitative instead of a quantitative blood HCG test, they aren't always as accurate. Just wait a while longer and try not to stress about it (yeah, I know it is hard... I am currently 7 days late as well). Good luck!
