Anyone has a late period because of progesterone?

Late period, neg Hcg test, no normal incoming period symptoms...anyone else have this?

• The first day of my last period was July 13th with a pretty regular 28 day cycle. From Aug 3rd - Aug 4th I had slight blood flow and then it tapered off to brownish spotting. For me, unfortunately, the brown spotting is very normal from one week prior to my period up until my period actually starts. I was due to start on Aug 10 and my spotting has since stopped. I have taken two home pg tests and both were negative. I had a blood hcg test today (plus progesterone) and the hcg test was negative. I won't get the progesterone results until tomorrow. I'm slightly achy in the lower region of my body. I feel like I'm starting my period constantly, but nothing is ever there. My nipples are actually quite tender too. My mom reacted positively to a home pg test, but my aunt (her sister) and my grandmother never did. I am wondering if anyone else has ever gone through this!

  Currently going through it now except I haven't taken a test. My last period began July 1st but was not a normal cycle. I bled very lightly for the first 3 days (usually I am heavy by my 3rd day) and the final 2-3 days were semi light. Well I haven't gotten my period for August and I too am very regular. I have had some overwhelming pregnancy symptoms but pregnancy and period symptoms can be similar. I have had no bleeding but a lot of symptoms so I am playing the waiting game on the test.
