What is the normal range for TSH levels?

HELP?!? Trying to get pregnant. High TSH levels.......?

  • I just had an embryo transfer 2 days ago. I found out my TSH levels were 7.93. I have NEVER had them this high. I am taking my 'normal' amount of medicine and always range between .5 - 1.25 every test I do throughout the years. Can my high estrogen affect the results of my tsh levels? My estrogen is 3100. Also, is there a chance the embryo can still implant? The hospital keeps telling me that it could stay have implanted. What's your opinion. Has ANYONE had this happen and had a successful implantation?? Last year I was on the EXACT same medicine, dose, etc. and they did NOT test my Thyroid levels back then. I got pregnant and have a 1 year daughter now. I'm just confused what happen this time?!? Some people tell me the results may not be accurate due to the high estrogen. I keep thinking it's a Failed IVF cycle and get myself all upset and depressed and crying about this. Please, ANYONE have any opinions or ideas or went through the same thing?? Thank you everyone.

  • Answer:

It could actually mean that the ivf worked. You tsh levels raise very quickly at the start of pregnancy, which is why you are considered high risk, and need to get medications adjusted constantly through pregnancy. Baby dust to you! Good luck!
