Honestly, at this point I would ask to be referred to a fertility specialist. Your doctor is obviously not monitoring you on the Clomid or trying to adjust your dose. You've been trying for two years- sending you home with three month's worth of Clomid is not going to do much to improve your chances. Also, I'm not sure how you took three months worth of Clomid if you weren't having your period- it's only supposed to be taken in the beginning of the cycle. Taking it without having a bleed is not going to work. This doctor is wasting your time. Ask for a referral.

first of all, it really sounds like your doc doesnt know what s(he) is doing. how much clomid were u on. did he up ur dose? did u have ultrasounds? after 2 yrs u need an RE.

I was under the impression thats clomid was taken 3-5 days into your period? You should see a specialist ...This month i took 50mg and i took blood before & after i finished my clomid and after i was finished my doc did a untra sound to look at my eggs .. fyi ..im 24 and ive been ttc for 3 years...

Clomid works differently for different people. Sometimes it works right away, sometimes it takes several months, and sometimes not at all. But don't worry, there are other methods of conception other than Clomid. Just give it a chance for a few more months... So, you did have a normal period? Did the Clomid help you ovulate after that? Where are you in your cycle? Are you tracking your cycles in a detailed way to see how Clomid is affecting your cycles? Any data you can collect might provide additional insight into your situation... Best of luck to you!

i had a very irregular period before. im 22 years old and have probably had my period 5 times since i started it. so when i started ttc i told my doctor all of this, she put me on bc pills to regulate me and i did start getting my period but as soon as id stop bc i wouldnt have a period. finally she put me on clomid and i was both happy and sad this last week when i got my period. i was sad because i wasnt pregnant but happy because clomid had obviously made me ovulate since i got a period naturally. so im currently on round 2 of clomid and still have hope that it will work for me. so i wish you luck and hope your ttc journey is not 2 long. baby dust!
