Is this a triphasic chart?
-
I am 13 dpo. Yesterday I noticed I had some pink lookingh discharges when I wiped. Its not enough to go on a pad or anything. Its only there when I wipe (sorry TMI) anyways, AF isnt expected to come until Sept 30 which is 4 days away. I'm praying that it doesnt show up. I'm a little confused on this whole BBT thing. This was my first month charting. I noticed that my temp has been dropping BUT still ABOVE my coverline. Can you look at my chart to see if this is a triphasic? Thanks so much! http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/22ac47

Answer:
It doesn't look triphasic to me because the temps dropped back down to where they were just after ovulation. However, they are still just as high as when you ovulated, so it's still a good thing. You just don't want to see them drop back down to where they were at the beginning of your cycle and stay there because that could indicate that your body doesn't have enough progesterone in it- inhibiting your chances of conceiving or carrying a pregnancy very far. The discharge could be promising for a pregnancy, but the chart doesn't give you any other indication right now that you have conceived- only that you did ovulate. Good luck.

The only thing I notice is that you're not taking your temp at the same time each morning (the open circles instead of the solid dots). That could really produce an inaccurate chart...so what you're looking at could be different if you charted at the same time each day. I do see the drop...and you are right, you are still above your coverline. Stay positive...and should there be a next month, make sure you temp at the same time each morning...set your alarm if need be. Also make sure you've been asleep for at least three hours prior to waking and temping. I know it's hard, believe me...setting my alarm for 5:45am on weekends is a pain! Good luck to you!!
No, if it was triphasic it would show your temp go up at ovulation and stay there and then a few days later go up again and stay up. Kind of like stairs. Fertilityfriend will actually label your chart with triphasic once your temps stay up at the third level. Triphasic doesn't mean you are pregnant and it doesn't mean you are not. I had a triphasic chart last month that ended up as a chemical (early MC). Being triphasic is just one more thing that can point towards being pregnant. You are almost back to your coverline so it looks like AF is just around the corner (I hope I'm wrong though) If you click on CHART GALLERY on FF you can do a search and choose pregnancy charts with a triphasic pattern, :) Lots of baby dust! :)
