Is it possible to get a negative pregnancy test and still be pregnant?

Is it possible to be about 8 weeks pregnant and still get negatives on a pregnancy test?

  • My last period was June 12th so it's been about 80 days which would put between 8-11 weeks (I'm irregular and I don't know when I ovulated) if I were pregnant. Is it possible to still be getting negatives on hpt's? I took one yesterday and it came back negative. I've always had irregular periods but I've never gone this long without one. I feel really bloated too, not really that my stomach is bigger but I can't suck it in anymore. Is it possible that it's just not showing up in my urine yet?

For some woman it can take up to 6 months to get a positive. you should request a blood test from the doctors to know for sure. good luck

While Not That Common It Is Possible To Be Eight Weeks And Have A Negative Reading On A Pregnancy Test. My Friend Didn't Read Positive On Her Test Until Around Her 12th Week. You May Be Pregnant.Either Get A Better Test Brand Or Go To The Doctor And Get A More Accurate Test Done...

Blood test the only "real" way to make sure. Good luck I hope you get what you are searching for. I am taking a HPT tomorrow morning and praying for my BFP. My period is only 1 day late though...so "she" might show up tomorrow...I hope she doesn't. Wish me luck and baby dust and I'll do the same for you.

At 8-11 weeks it should show up. There is probably another reason u dont have a period, go see a DR.

i think your not pregnant, ive had the same thing , not had a peroid for 2.5 months and doc says def not preg as tests are sooo sensitive these days, maybe you and i havent been ovulating??? im normally every 28 days
