IF U ARE A DENTIST please answer?

Do I need to tell the dentist anything....PLEASE answer!?

  • I am going to the dentist today and my husband and me are TTC and I am currently in the 2 week waiting period. So that means there is a possibility that I couldn be pregnant. Is there anything that I need to let the dentist or the hygentist know (letting them know that I could be preganant...I don't think they are planning on doing X-Rays this time but they may, or is there anything they use that they shouldn't use on pregnant women). Thank you for you help.

  • Answer:

The safest thing to do is just tell them that you could be pregnant...

Depending on the nature of the visit yes you need to tell them because if you are possibly pregnant then some of the medication can harm the embryo

You should tell them something if they plan on doing x-rays. When I went to the dentist at 28 weeks, that was the only thing that they did differently.
