How long does EWCM last?

I have EWCM after BDing? Can BDing trigger EWCM?

• I know I am entering my fertile phase (I use CBFM and got my first "high" this morning - yesterday was "low" and my CM was creamy), and we BDed last night. This morning, I have a lot of what looks like EWCM. I'm suspicious that it often happens after we've BDed, but it passes all the EWCM tests I've found on the internet - doesn't dissolve in water and instead blobs together and sinks, doesn't dissolve into toilet paper, and is not white at all but clear and very stretchy. This isn't the first time I've observed this CM after BDing the day before... Has anyone else had this? I'm not sure how to record it on my chart.

  Since you have done the tests to eliminate the possibility that it could be your arousal fluids or semen, it is likely that it is EWCM and you should record it as such on your chart. If this happens frequently, you can try the semen emitting technique after BD...about 30 minutes after BD, perform kegals which will push the excess semen out (30 minutes is more than enough time for the sperm to leave the semen). It is typical to get a couple days of EWCM in your fertile phase and since your CBEFM just indicated that you are high, it means you are getting into your fertile phase. Keep an eye on your CM, watch for your peak with the CBEFM and good luck!!
