Why do I have cramping after ovulation?

Cervical mucus or cramping - which is a better sign of ovulation?

  • I'm hoping someone can clear this up for me. This month I had clear cervical mucus (starting wed) for what i think was prior to ovulation. I had it for a few days before the ovulation cramping started (fri). Mild cramping is still happening after 3 days (easing up much today though). Question is...when did i actually ovulate - when i saw the most cervical mucus or the few days after when i experienced the cramping? Cramping and mucus overlaped one day (friday). Had sex wed, fri and sun. So i think i covered my fertile time but i'm not sure. Any thoughts??

  • Answer:

I think cervical mucus is a better sign. Too many things can cause cramping. As far as covering your fertile time, i would say to have sex at least once every day. As long as your hubbys sperm are healthy. I know people say every other day but it really only takes ONE sperm to get pregnant. If you arent pregnant this month, try have sex everyday next month. Good luck
