Is constant crying normal for a 2-year-old?

How 2 stop constant crying of a 3 year old?

• Hello. I have a 3 year old little girl that will NOT stop crying. I have tried everything warm milk rocking cuddling. I left her alone and after a hour of crying she stopped then started rolling around and screaming bloody murder in her crib. The neighbors must be worried and might call the police. I don't no what to do I have a 5 year old and 8 year old. I had exsperience before but this one won't stop!....help!

  Some people are just no help. Anyway, I would assume there is a deeper issue than her constant crying. For instance, why is she crying? What could be causing it? Is it 'monsters' because my girlfriend's toddler just started to say 'monsters' and that what was freaking her out and believe me she was SCREAMING, crying at the top of her lungs because of this and seperation anxiety, so it was difficult. What we have done, is read her kids books about the issue, we kind of switched up our nightly routine a LITTLE bit, and so far it's working. She goes to bed at 9. At 8 we started to give her a snack and warm milk, therefore she isn't hungry during the middle of the night, the warm milk is a 'treat' for her so it makes her happy and it also tires her out. After that, she takes a bath, brushes her teeth, we lotion her, put her in bed, and read her one bedtime story. Now this is when she would go ballistic, but we realized that she really just wants something to take her mind off sleeping to be there, and we started using an mp3 music box. Ever since we started using that, the fuss has died down, and it has actually been working (fingers crossed), so maybe try something like that. Just keep it consistant and don't fold.
