or give him some solid foods he vomits. he doesn't chew we never forced him .he had GERD GRADE 3 from 2 months of age now it came down, he doesn't show interest in food .if i offer him either he plays with it or he licks the food and throw it away. i tried offering him chocolate's finger foods, home made foods every thing which is soft and he can easily chew but he doesn't chew.we are waiting that he will eat some or the other day. i feed him once in every three hours so that he may not loose his weight.i feed him eggs veggies, fruits, dal, rice every thing daily but in pureed form. he doesn't drink any thing except for water i give him milk by converting into porridge or ragi .i feed him daily 5 -6 times.now he is in play school, next year the timings will be more in school i am worried that if he doesn't start eating it will be a big problem for me because they wont allow parents in the school, help me and one thing is i had to divert him while giving him food like making him watch nice cartoons like that other wise he vomits.

Peer pressure is a great equalizer. It may not come right away, but eventually he'll notice that no one else eats food like his and seemingly overnight he'll want what the others are having. If it works that way, please don't stand in the way of it. I hope this is something you've talkeed to your pediatrician about and perhaps asked him or her for a referral to a dietician or nutritionist. Your boy isn't getting enough milk in his porrige to support the sort of bone and teeth formation that he's having in these years. I hope someone (medical) is keeping an eye on this ... like it would do any good, I suppose. Don't dismiss the possibility that you're being played by a 2½ year old kid. They learn long before they understand and he's controling you with his dietary demands. An infant over one year shouldn't be still eating every three hours. He's not going to starve if he misses a meal or two, I promise you. So long as you give him normal amounts of water (don't let him fill his stomach with water). Consider letting him get hungry and then offer some easily chewed foods. It may become a matter of who is the most stubborn, but this little guy needs to be eating real food. I'm just a mom ... and not an ogre. I think your little one is on his way to making a rather unhappy time for himself. I simply believe that the reason they call us parents is because we have to guide, not just go along. Best of luck to you.
