My son is only 1 and i finally got his temp to break but now its 98.3... Is that okay, what should i do?

Yeah its normal. The cold clammy feeling is just where the fever is down. The holding is just because he don't feel good, and theres nothing like a Mama's lap for comfort when you don't feel good. So hold him close, give him what no money or medicine can help...give him your lap and your love. You may get behind on the cleaning, sandwitches may suffice as a meal, the hamper may build up.....No worries, it will be there when he's feeling better. But for now , make him feel better and give him what he needs the most! I hope he's better soon!

He is cold from the rapid drop in temperature, his body is trying to adjust. 98.3 is perfectly fine however. Poor little guy, how horrible to have tonsillitis at such a young age :( My daughter is 1 also, i couldnt imagine going through that with her, it makes me sad just thinking about it. I hope he feels better soon.

i agree that 98.3 is fine. if he is cold, just wrap him in a thin blanket and if he wants to be held, by all means hold him. Im sure he is exhausted from the fevers and doesnt want to play anything. Rest is best right now.
