Need activity help for two boys aged 11 months and 13 months?

  • Hi! I have been working as a nanny to a lovely family for the past few months and am looking for ideas for the children and I to spend our time. Before being a nanny I worked at a daycare with older ones (18 months - 24 months) and the two children i am currently caring for our 11 and almost 13 months. Currently our days are spent playing with their educational toys, going for a walk in the stroller, singing songs and reading stories. As a parent, what activities do you want your children doing? I want to look for some creative activities, but haven't been able to find anything for this age range. I'm definitely looking forward to a few months from now, because I have a ton of activites for then... but what to do now? My questions are: *If you were to hire a nanny for your 11 months and 13 month old children what would you want them to be doing? Just playing and keeping the children safe, or is your first thought their development?

    I have a 17 month old boy, and if I was going to hire a nanny for him, I would want safety first. The library is a good place, and you could look online for printable coloring pages or other activities. I always go to fisher-price.com for ideas

Try taking them to the library. They have all types of activities to do. For kid of all ages. I have two boys ages 1 and 9 months. Also try the park and rec. they have all types of classes for toddlers.

story time at a bookstore/library would be great later on. hand painting would be fun trip to the zoo
