How do I get my 5 month old to sleep in his crib?

How do I get my 21 month old to sleep all night in his own crib?

• My almost 21 month old son does fall asleep on his own and I can put him in his crib. But the thing is he refuses to sleep in his own crib all night long. He will wake up roughly 2 or 3 hours into the night and refuses to sleep in his crib. I can have him so sound asleep to the point where he is snoring but as soon as I put him in his crib he wakes up screams and as soon as I go to lay him on my bed with me and my husband he is sound asleep before he even hits the bed. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  if he is taking two naps a day, one in the morning and one at night, cut the morning nap and also watch what he eats before he goes to bed, no sugars or carbs. also when he does scream and cry don't go running at first wail, leave him for a couple of minutes and then if he keeps screaming go to his crib and softly but firmly tell him that he needs to stay in his crib and that it is time to sleep then leave him in his crib and sit by it and softly talking to him until he falls asleep hope this helps :)
