Does anyone know any cute Halloween crafts?

Anyone know ideas for a Tigger Halloween Birthday party and Invitations for a 2 yr. old in Houston, TX?

  • My son will be 2 on Oct. 29 this year and we didn't have a 1st Birthday Party for him last year because of him being so young and wouldn't understand some things. Well this year we want to go ALL OUT!!! I'm hoping someone can help me find some Tigger Birthday invitations but with Halloween only and only Tigger. Almost everything I find is only with all the gang for birthdays. I know I may be asking so soon but I love to be able to plan months in advance in case something happens, you just never know. I live in Houston, Texas so any local peeps that know any good places to look please answer. Can you think of some good ideas for decorations and food? I want this to an awesome party to remember not just for my son but for his great grandma and grandma on his father's side that have many health issues and don't know what can happen.     Why not trying to make your own invitation..? Get some Tigger Clip Art online or in a book and some Halloween clip art and see what you can come up with- it will be unique and nice because you made it! You can also go to BEST BUY or any software store and get software to make invitations/letterheads etc... BROADERBUND makes one for around $5...I got a HUGE 200ct. assortment of medium weight paper postcards w/ envelopes all different colors and I used a glue stick to attach the picture to the paper which as a 4x6 and the picture I made was 3 1/2x5... So, it created a border... The HUES assortment of notecards was around $6 or $8 and I use it all the time for Thank You's, and other little personal notes... Just be creative and you'll have a beautiful and personal invitation...

You have plenty of time so go to a craft shop, get some supplies from the scrapbook area and make your own! As for the party, depending on the child, 2 can be a little tough to go elsewhere, do you have enough room at home? You could set up your own "one hundred acre wood" and if you have kids there, they can "trick or treat" at each characters house. I know you want a tigger theme, but it would be fun to add one small piece with a few of the others. You could give each child a tigger halloween bag for the goodies. If it is just adults, they could trick or treat as well and you could give them each a framed picture of your son. If it is all adult, you can also have "tigger tracks" for your son to follow to each of his b-day presents and he could do this throughout the party as most 2 yr olds like to play with each gift as they open it. For food, you could pick what you want to serve and find creative Tigger type names for everything. Hot dogs could be Tigger tails, grapes could be his teeth, find something to be Tigger stripes...you get the idea. Don't go so crazy that you overwhelm him. Have fun!!
