Chinchilla has a eye infection what can I do for him?

17 month old - eye infection/ eyelid drooping?

• hi, my 17 month old had an eye infection 10 days ago. basically his eyes were watery and became pink. he had a fever. when we took him to the doctor, he had ear infection and was on antibiotics which was to take care of both the eye and the ear infection. now his ear infection is gone, his eyes are clear but his eyelid on the left eye (he had infection on only left eye) is drooping. my son has big eyes and so one big is big and the other is small now. i asked the doctor yesterday and he said it should be okay soon and if it is not okay in 2 weeks, he will send him to an eye doctor. i am so worried. has anybody experienced this? will his eyelid open up like how it used to be?

  If you are worried about it, get a second opinion, it wouldn't hurt or just wait like what the doctor said and if there are no changes, take him back OR tell the doctor you want to take him to the eye doctor right away.
