My muscle feels tight?

What could these be...feels like muscle contractions?

  • for the last few days i have noticed what i can only describe as what feels like my lower abdomenals contracting, it feels as tough they are being pulled closer together for a few seconds and then being released again. i have also noticed my abdomen feels quite hard and is looking quite swollen/bloated and have noticed blue veins that are quite visible on both sides of my stomach. i asked this question in the general health section and a couple of people suggested it maybe pregnancy? what do you guys think? thanks! i do have a doctors appointment by the way but its not til next week!! just after some opinions really!!!

    It does sound like you are pregnant. Go ahead and take a pregnancy test, it couldnt hurt. The first time I realized I was pregnant was kinda like your situation. I felt the baby move and I knew something was up and was so embarrased when the doctor told me I was pregnant and he asked me why I didnt already know. Wish I would have taken the test before I went in and made a fool of myself...

sounds like a moving baby to me!!!THats what it felt like the first time my son moved inutero... It was like muscle contraction/twitches... I would def. take a home preg test just to see.. And you can buy the dollar store one b/c if your far enough along to feel the baby "move" then no matter what test you take it will pick up the pregnancy hormone in your urine.. Good luck.. keep us updated on what happens:)
