When should I check for pregnancy?

If I go to my doctor for a check up, will they check for pregnancy???????

  • I loose my insurance from my parents when i turn 23 in August. I want to have a complete checkup before i loose insurance b/c who knows when i will get another. What do i tell the nurse i want? A full check up?? I had a pap like in January, so she would give me BC, but have been on BC since beging of october.I am on BC and got a period but my stomach and everytthing was being weird so i took a test on the 3rd day of my placebo(negative) and started the next morning. I took another one the next week after starting my new pack also negative. Am I okay. My body is still weird. Feelings in my stomach and only one boob hurts only when i touch in a specific area. I have also been having a lot of bowel movements..... Any advice or suggestions....

  • Answer:

When you make the appointment, tell the nurse you would like an exam/checkup and a pregnancy test. Be sure to explain your symptoms to the doctor in case it isn't a pregnancy. Since you are on birth control, I doubt you are pregnant, it probably has something to do with your hormones.

I would assume if you asked for a full check up and told them you thought you might be pregnant they would do one. The only way to be sure is ask your doctor's office. I hope this helps.
