Is swelling normal in pregnancy?

I am 18 weeks pregnant with baby number 2. I excersise everyday almost. well today it was extremely hot and i went on a walk, pulled weeds and was on my feet all day in the heat. i stayed hydrated and stuff. i feel fine but my feet seem to be a littlle swollen not much though. its not my blood pressure or anything. is swelling from the heat normal though? i have never been pregnant in hot weather. thanks

Yes, swelling is normal. I am not sure if it is related to the heat. It is usually attributed to having extra blood in your body when you are pregnant. Also, you were on your feet a lot and that will make it worse.

i think a little swelling is normal in pregnancy.. especially when your on your feet... try putting your feet up and see if that helps... but if the swelling gets to excessive go to your doctor because too much swelling is not good.
