i had this! ughh it's horrible but if you take a couple tums you should be fine.
Yes, ma'am it's heartburn. Awful, isn't it? Chew a couple of Tums. They ought to help out a bit.
Yup! Thats heart-burn alright..... I suffered alot thro all of my pregnancies... Get some Gaviscon or Remegel tablets... they really work well and are absolutley fine to take during pregnancy. Also, for a quick fix (whilst you send hubby out to pick some up) Try a glass of milk or some yoghurt... hope this helps. Goodluck! xx
I hate acid reflux and have had it for weeks. I've gone through 3 bottles of gaviscon, 32 chewable tablets, 16 pack of rennies.. millions of TUMS and i got prescribed Maalox from my doctor! My baby is going to come out smelling of antacids lol. I've found that gaviscon in the liquid form really does help! The acid really burns and hurts and sometimes it can last for longer than 20 seconds, coming and going. Take it after meals and especially before bedtime! I seem to wake up a lot with it and once I take a swig of gaviscon, it's heaven and I can get straight back to sleep without the burning sensation. Good luck!
heartburn u can feel all the way thru to ur back lol usually if u have heartburn even if u have never had it b4 u know wat it is! its that painful. will only get worse as baby gets bigger.
Sure sounds like heartburn. Try some tums and have a glass of milk. The milk I found really, really helped. Also, if it continues, talk to your Dr as I was on some medication for heartburn with my last 2 kids and it worked wonders. Try making sure that you always have food in your stomach. Also, try to drink as little as possible during your meals as it can dilute the stomach acids that help you digest and that can make a big meal also cause heartburn. Hope it passes for you soon, but if it doesn't, remember it is all worth it for that precious little one! Congrats! :D
Thats 100% heartburn. Drink milk....drink milk with honey mixed in it. (its gross but if milk alone doesnt help me that will) and eat tums (can take 4 at a time)
