Whats worse? C-Section or Tearing?

i've never had a c-section, but i've torn. painful, right? i do have friends who've done both and say that they'd rather tear any day over a c-section. the tears heal faster than the deep incision of a c-section. i personally am terrified of surgery, which includes c-sections, so it's not for me. but, "to each their own." is my motto.

c section is much more pain it takes longer to heal i couldn't stand up straight for like 2 weeks after because of the pain if i were you id go with the vaginal brith its much less painful iam going in for my second c section on the 5 and iam not looking forward to it oh and its also a major surgery

i tore all the way too and i mean up to date i crinch at the thought but c cestion is worst as i been told by many ppl.

Pregnant with my first so I don't know personally but... I do know people who have had both and they say tearing over c-section any day! The c-section is a major abdominal surgery and will "cripple" you for weeks. You will hardly be able to pick up your baby. If you decided to go with vaginal delivery maybe your doctor can make a nice little cut instead of you tearing!?!?!

I had a c-section and I thought it was incredably easy. My best friend ripped and after seeing me go through my c-section she says she wishes she would have had a c-section instead. I didn't choose to have a c-section though. My best friend couldn't sit for a month without her vagina hurting I was better in weeks and now feel back to my old self..I am 24 weeks pregnant and choosing to scedule a c-section for this baby but that's mostly because I know what to expect.

Worse for whom? It is better for child to go through the vag. My wife tore on the first kid and delivered three more withouth tearing. This is because she got stretched out by the first baby. I think that if you started with a C-section, it's not that great for your kid but it keeps your vag nice and tight for your husband. Now I have to save up money for a plastic surgeon to rejuvinate her. Its either that or surgically alter me to be like John Holmes. Hmm, I'll have to think about that one.
