Swollen hands and feet?

Swollen feet and hands at 39 weeks.?

  • so a few weeks ago i went to the doc for my normal check ups. and my feet were getting swollen then and my doc didnt seem to worried about it. ( i thought swollen feet wasnt a good thing during opregnancy, or at least it something to worry about if it gets bad) i think my feet are kinda bad. so how could i help with this? at the moment im soaking them in a lil tub of cold water. and then i plan on proping them up. i always sleep with them up when i go to bed. and it doesnt seem to help. sometimes it does and sometime its doesnt.

Joys of pregnancy. The time to worry is when you have high blood pressure and protein in your urine. It'll go once baby is born, you'll notice yourself peeing like crazy for the first few days as your body gets rid of all the fluid its retained in your feet, hands, breasts, and so on.

Just a natural part of pregnancy unfortunately.. you just have to grin and bare it until your little one is born :P Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy and looking after the little one anyway (:
