How to do the baby freeze move?

When did everyone feel they're baby move (during pregnancy) ?

  • Hi well I'm gonna be 20 weeks pregnant in 2 days and still haven't felt my baby move. It gets me a little worried because this is my 2nd child and with my 1st I felt him move at 16/17 weeks. I thought i would feel this baby around the same time as my 1st child since I already know what it feels like (baby's movements) but i haven't. So i'm just wondering if anyone else felt their baby move around 20 weeks +?

  • Answer:

i first felt my baby move at around 17 weeks.. but it was only for a second and i had only the fluttering sensations after that...i'm now 24 weeks and feel her kick slightly and every now and then a slight movement but thats it , this has been going on for about 3 or 4 weeks now... i'm still waiting to see more moventments on the outside of my tummy... i only see it pop up for a slight second when she kicks so far.... but they say 24 to 28 weeks is when the baby is more active after that they sart to get less and less room to move in... so hopefully i'l start to feel her move a lot more within the next week or so ... congrats on ur pregnancy and good luck :O) xx

Every pregnancy is different so I wouldnt worry (I know easier said that done!) I felt my sons 1st movements at 16wks too. Dont you have a 20wks scan soon thn? Maybe just say to your midwife nxt time your there and she will let you hear the heartbeat to reassure you that all is ok. He/she is maybe just to snug to bother with moving around too much lol! Goodluck and congrats!

I didn't feel the baby move til I was about 22 or 23 weeks and even then it wasn't much.

if you lie flat on the floor, you may feel it move. try not to worry as sum ppl give birth without knowing that they were pregnant. if you are really worried speak 2 ur midwife, it cud jst b they way ur baby is lyin. im sure everything will b ok.

I felt the first flutter around 18weeks, but I did not really feel her move until 20weeks. My sister-in-law did not feel my neice move at all until almost 22weeks, the doctor was not concerened at all, he told her that they dont start to worry until 24weeks. I would give it a few more days, and if you still havent felt the little one move, I would give you OB a call, just to be safe. Good luck!

I did for the first time in my 20th week and it's still just when I'm laying down that I feel her (I'm in my 22nd week now). I kept reading that it could happen any time, from the time I was 18 weeks and people on here say they feel it so much earlier than I did, so I started to worry, but luckily she let me feel her moving eventually!

Even though this is your second child, you might not feel or remember what it feels like! I felt movement at 15 weeks. some don't feel until 16-24 weeks call your Ob if you have concerns, she/he will be able to put your mind at ease...Congratulation's and Good luck

I officially felt my baby move for the first time when I was 17 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Every woman is different and we all feel the first movement at different times. Good luck and congrats.

The day I turned 16 weeks, I felt it for the first time--but only a little tap. I really started feeling strong kicks around 20 weeks. I wouldn't be that worried yet, everyone is different and every baby is different.

I felt my baby at 14w1d. It felt like a muscle spasm. Every pregnancy is different, though.
