Horrible Pain In Left Side?

15 weeks, Horrible pain on left side around ovary.?

  • I am 15 weeks 4 days pregnant and this morning while I was getting dressed this horrible pain came over my left side around where my ovary is. It felt sort of like an ovulatin pain but was worse. It started off dull then got to an almost unbearable point, at the height of it, it almost seemed to radiate to my back directly behind where it hurt on the front side. After that it gradually eased up until it was gone. This took place all in about a 10-15 minute span. This happened about an hour ago and I haven't had any bleeding or anything like that. I am pretty sure it is not round ligament pain because I have had that and it did not feel the same and round ligament pain never lasts that long. Should I be concerned or is this normal? Thanks for your help.

I had something similar when I was pregnant. Mine turned out to be a fibroid. They are harmless growths that many women don't even know they have. When you get pregnant and things get tight, the fibroid can get pinched and cause pain. You should probably go get checked by your doctor just to be sure. good luck.
