What is the sales promotion letter?

Is it appropriate to ask for a letter of recommendation?

  • My husband has an interview next Thursday that will determine whether or not he gets a huge promotion. One of the managers of a store my husband already works at has already said they won't accept anyone else doing their sales. So they should write him a letter of recommendation to present at his interview right? Is it in bad taste to bring that up the next time he talks to the store about his future there?

  • Answer:

I do think it's appropriate especially for other future job opportunities. EDIT: And good luck to him... I remember the situation you are going through. I hope everything works out for you both. My mom got laid off last Thursday.... those ******.

I don't think it's inappropriate at all. I did when I got laid off! Good luck to you guys!

*I was actually just going to ask how that went :) Trying to clarify- he wants to ask his current boss for a letter of recommendation for when he applies at the company he currently works for, where he is either going to get promoted or laid off? *re-reading, the manager you speak of is the manager of the store that your husband's company does business with? *OK now that we have that straightened out- I don't think that would be inappropriate.

Idk I am not old enough for a job. Pls answer mine though no one is answering it seriously. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AuAZZa83LdUsTGrSpaVxObLsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20110311095504AAL2lvN
