What should I do to entertain myself?

What are some good ways to entertain an 11 year old boy?

  • I will have a just turned 11 year old family member visit here and because I live alone and I am the only 1 with room and time ( I happen to be on work vacation), he will be staying with me. Ive never met him, all I know is that he loves animals. 11 is such an odd "in-between" age! What's the best ways to entertain him????? I want him to have lots of fun. He says he is excited to go places. My ideas are the zoo because he loves animals, or do you think that is too childish? I love the zoo as an adult so I dont know The beach Entertainment place (for older kids) it has the tokens/tickets/games, but then also go-carts and carnival rides Downtown for a boat ride and firework show What else??

    Swimming Fishing video games zoo is a great idea! Carnivals take him to get ice cream go to the movies w/ him ride bikes with him do puzzles watch sports on tv and eat popcorn together rent cool animal movies, like Dr. Doolittle and watch them and eat popcorn together.

Yeah, 11 is in the middle but as he loves animals you can be sure that it wont be some kind of spoiled kid(: you could take him to the zoo! or even to the movies, and try and figure him out! talk to him even if he doesnt respond! it doesnt matter if he doesnt caause he's 11! soo i would recommend the zoo, the movies, a LONG walk throught the neighborhood or take him to a petshop maybe his mom will accept you to buy him an animal! and he'll love you for that;)
