Looking for a DVD Player?

So I'm looking for a DVD player for my car?

  • I'm shopping and I find ones that mount to the dash, headliner, and headrest. I also find portable DVD players that you hold in your lap. I am looking for the older style ones that just strap to the headrest - not permanently mount. Do these exist anymore? Do portable DVD players have jackets or sleeves that attach them to the back of a seat? Am I simply looking at the wrong products? Also - if you have a DVD player in your car - what options should I look at. I know every time I buy a product I always wish I would have gotten this option, or not that option. Anyway - opinions, suggestions, tell me your favorite color - whatever...

Try ebay for one of the older style ones.

We bought one that sounds exactly like what you are looking the spring of 2010. We bought it at Walmart and it came with a case and straps that are used for mounting to the back of a seat. We love it. I can't remember what brand it is but it is a basic portable DVD player that plugs into the AC adapter in our vehicle. I read that the battery life is only 2 hours if you don't us the adapter but we have never used it anywhere but our vehicle so no problem with this. When I started searching online I typed 'portable DVD player' and found what I was looking for. Good luck.
