How much should i ask for? babysitting?

  • i am babysitting for a close friend who is having a hard time right now i told them i don't need the money but she is assisting i ask for a certain amount an hour how much should i ask for? i will be babysitting a full 24 hours 430pm- 430pm sunday.

    I personally would do, 5$ per child per hour. If you're keeping her kids for 24 hours, you'll be feeding them too, may as well ask for enough to cover those kind of costs; and it's not that pricey (5$ an hr that is.)

If she wants a certain amount an hour i would say no i just tell you a flat amount 50 dollars especially if they don't have much money.

Since she is assisting just say 25 dollars

If you have children, just tell her instead of her paying you she can babysit for you next time you need it but if you do not have kids tell her instead of a hourly rate she can pay you 30 bucks straight.
