Whats a good kid what do you call a good kid?

someone who has respect for themselves and others and who makes good choices for themselves.

If the child possesses-respect, morals, values, and etiquette for others. Works hard and understands what it's like to work for what you want-though that falls under morals and values for me. :-)

someone that doesnt talk back to adults, get's good grades, is responsible, knows how to say no..... LIKE MEH!! but i still have alot of friends and is tons of fun i just have common sense lol

A child who has respect for authority, and respect for elders. Too many kids now a days don't have any respect.

Responsible, respectful, punctual, determined, educated. That's a good kid right there.

Someone who doesn't do drugs and alcohol. Pretty sad huh?

A good kid is a term that is used when a child does what they are supposed to be doing. Following the rules, good grades, not getting into trouble, not turning out to be a criminal. A kid with "issues" or "troubled youths" as some people may call them like counselors or therapists(since they don't believe in the term a "bad kid" or "bad seed"). These types of kids need help so they can turn their lives around. There are exceptions though. For example you have a good household, parents who are involved in the kid's life, good role models and yet the kid turns out to be a criminal. That you can't blame the parents, that is the kids' actions. Some people are born good and some are born evil, plain and simple. That is what you call the balance of life, no two sides can be more than the other otherwise it throws the balance off. That's why you have crimes, terrorists, natural disasters, etc. As long as there is good in the world, evil will always exist. Its what you call the balance of things.

In today's world, people consider a kid good if they obediently listen to everything their parent says and everything their teachers say. Basically a little robot. In my opinion a good kid is an independent assertive one, who questions everything and does not bend to authority if it is foolish authority.

He does not misbehave, makes good decisions and is thoughtful towards others.
