What are great educational computer & video games for a 6 year old boy?

• My little brother loves playing games, but rather than him just play things that don't teach him anything useful, I'd rather him play educational games that are still fun. Do you recommend any? Thanks. He can read and knows basic addition and subtraction, and loves sports (soccer, football, baseball, hockey, etc), medieval things (he loves Age of Empires, though he's too young to play), pretty much anything with sword fighting, dinosaurs, etc. Thanks!

  You might want to try word games, puzzle etc such as bookworm.. These are somewhat educational and good for a 6 year old kid! Bookworm (or Bespelled) is a word-forming computer puzzle game by PopCap Games. From a grid of available letters, players connect letters to form words. As words are formed, they are removed from the grid and the remaining letters collapse to fill the available space.
