Do you think they will give me a chance?

I think my parents should give me another chance what do other parents think ?

  • my parents have told me they are sick and tired of my bad behaviour, i admit i"m no angel i do stay out late skip school and misbehave a lot , i even sneak out when grounded, now my parents have said enough is enough and if i mess up just one more time they will put me into at least 1 week of lockdown and properly punish me, they have even written out a regime of what lockdown will be like monday--- friday my mum will pick me up from school give me dinner then escort me to my bedroom and lock me in, no tv, no phone, no pc no entertainment, just homework.bedtime and lights out 8pm saturday and sunday up at 8am for room cleaning and ironing duties, 10 am lock up, i will be locked back in my room, i will be expected to study 1 pm UNLOCK followed by lunch in room, 1,45 after washing up back to my room again ( locked in ) 4 pm UNLOCK FOLLOWED BY 2 HOURS OF HARD CHORES, 6 pm DINNER IN ROOM FOLLOWED BY TOTAL LOCKDOWN i will be locked in my bedroom for the night, i will only be allowed out to use the bathroom. this punishments sounds awful and my sister assures me my parents have had enough and are going to go through with it if i dont change my ways, i have promised my parents i will try much harder and behave well. now the problem i forgot that my school has just sent a letter home to my parents about me missing school and they have to go up and see my headmaster next week, so as from tomorrow i will be punished, my question is as i committed this crime before my parents warned me about lockdown I SHOULD GET OFF IF YOU WERE MY PARENT WOULD YOU LET ME OFF PUNISHMENT ? ps remember i have promished my parents to behave in the future so whats the point of punishing me saturday and sunday

    No way. You're a disrespectful little brat and now you pay the price. Good on your parents for properly punishing you - sounds like it was LONG overdue! Honestly, if I were your parents, I'd be locking you down for at least two weeks!

Take the punishment like a man. And after the punishment and during , mature in better behavior. Ask for their support as well.

they are doing this so you will be alive to grow up and to teach u how to be a grown up , we dont do things to punish, we jest want u to see your ways were wrong. talk to some kids whose parents dont care what they do and they will tell u that they wished thy had parents who cared. take the punishment, suck it up and behave, study hard, and plan a career because a youth spent on partying leads to an adult life of poverty. i know because i did this and i regret my youth.

I believe they have every right to still enforce the punishment they deem reasonable based on your recent behavior. All children say they will stop and change their ways, but few really do if the consequences are not set forth. Just deal with the punishment...1 wk will come and go very fast!
