  • Answer:

I think its good. My son didnt wear a coat his first winter b/c I rarely took him out. If I did he was in his car seat covered by a blanket. You might not get much use out of it or you might. If it rains alot I bet you'll get a good amount of use out of it.

I had jackets for every age, stage and season with my first child. He used them, but rarely. When he was still in his infant car seat, it was easier to cover it with heavy blankets when walking from the house to the car or the car to the house and then pull the blankets off. If your baby has on a heavy coat of jacket and you put them in the car seat with it on and then turn the heat on in your car, the baby will get hot and sweat not to mention be unhappy and uncomfortable. It was easy to remove the blanket once the car was warm.

it depends on where you live. in Florida, you baby is going to need a TANK TOP =) but if you live somewhere that it gets cold or rainy, then it is most likey a good idea. In Florida and other warm places, a light sweater or jacket will do.
