How early can you fly on an airplane with a baby?

How old should your baby be to fly on an airplane?

  • I am thirty one weeks pregnant and we would be flying in April (My babies are due on the fifth of January, triplets <3) Will they be old enough to fly by then? Me and my daughter will be going to Arizona for Spring Break, I would love to bring just one of them <3. BTW, is it safe to bring them to Arizona so soon? hey will be three months old. Thanks <3

  • Answer:

At least 4 months old. That gives them enough time to strengthen their delicate eardrums.

Depends on the airline. We flew with my son At 2 months, which was fine. I know jetblue says over 3 weeks

Must have 1st round of shots first. My baby's dr. said it has nothing to do w the altitude. It's the bacteria/germs and as long as it's int he country you are good to go after the 1st set of shots.

I think they should be ok, but I would bring an extra assistant.

Ask a pediatrician, because there is a concern about pressurized cabins and newly developed ears.
