I want to sell a few of his baby items, but how much should I charge for them? Have you sold items to OUAC?

I have one of the original Co-sleepers in really good condition. I was thinking around $20, is that too much or too little? I only used it maybe two times with my son, he didn't sleep well in it. It was given to me. I don't think that Once Upon a Child will give me much for either item...but not sure. Have you ever sold big items like this to them? If so, how much did they offer you? I also bought a playpen for $40 this summer and only used it maybe 3-4 times, now its in the closet collecting dust. How much would you sell it for? We plan on having one more child, but not for a year or two. So I figured I would buy a new one when we have another.

Answer:
They'll give you about 1/3 of the original price. Not really worth it. I would rather just be a blessing to an expectant mom and offer the items to her for free. Or donate them to a church nursery or something.

Many people sell for what ever they can get for them. i guess it depends on what you are selling. as i got rid of the things my kids didn't need, i found a charity that would give the items to other parents that could not afford to buy the things i had. But to get better ideas of prices, take in consideration, what you paid for it, how old it is, and is anything broke, missing, discolored, etc. Check the local paper for similar items, and you can even go to web sites like Ebay to see what other people are selling their items for. Hope this helps. Good Luck
Have you tried Craigslist.com? I would sell the co-sleeper for 25OBO and the playpen for 35OBO
HEY! I havent seen you on here in ages!!! Congrats on Grants 5 teeth..my daughter has 5 now as well... 2 on top 3 on the bottom. Shes Grants age, hes adorable, by the way. Have you considered selling stuff on Craigslist? Its very easy & will easily be seen. Your prices to me seem very reasonable & the better you price them-the sooner theyll sell. Consignment shops dont give much money back, so your better off selling the stuff yourself. To me... charging about half of what you spent on the items is a good deal!!!
