I'm planing on meeting with a plastic surgeon for a tummy tuck. I've had 2 c-sections, my last about 2 and a half months ago. How long do I need to wait before having a tummy tuck? Thanks!

Most doctors do not recommend a tummy tuck following a c-section as the body experiences stress during birth and undergoes hormonal changes that affect the tissues. The risks involved range from wound complications to blood clots to fatal outcomes. Pulmonary embolus (blood clot to lung) is a risk in both pregnancy and tummy tucks, and stacking the two could lead to a catastrophe. To answer your question, if you are planning to get pregnant again, then do not even think about tummy tuck. And if not, then i guess wait for an year
