What are the Pros and Cons of the Green Movement?

Does anyone use the Respisense Movement Monitor, if so what are the pros and cons?

  • Answer:

I've been using it on my 2 1/2 month old since birth and couldn't be happier. I only put it on him when I go to sleep or when he's napping in another room. I've tested it and it works perfectly - it's small and light and a lot better than the old style movement sensors which only work on their cribs and even then are not 100% reliable. My nephew died with SIDS some years ago and I only wished he had one of these monitors on at the time because it would have at least warned the parents that he wasn't breathing properly and may have given them the chance to do something before it was too late. The only trouble is when the baby is asleep and I have to disturb him to put the monitor on, but it's better safe than sorry . I strongly recommend it to any parent at least until their baby is a year old.
