Swollen hands and feet?

My 7 month old son has swollen feet and hands...?

• My 7 month old son has swollen feet and hands, I noticed it for the first time 2 weeks ago.I went to GP who admitted his hands and feet are swollen but she does not know what it is and refuses to do any tests. He did not have any infection since he was born (other then cellulitis on his finger for 4 weeks which cleared without antibiotic), he has atopic eczema since 5 months. I worry what can be a reason for his swollen hands and feet.

  Are they swollen all the time or just during certain times of the day ( after nap or after bath?) Are they obviously swollen ( would a stranger notice the swelling or are you the only one?) . If they are very swollen or you can tell that they aren't swollen because of warmth after sleeping or bath, I'd go back to the doctor and be very persistent about testing. Hope this helps!
