Mommys with tattoos dedicated to children? ?

I got a Hopi Native American symbol for mother and child on the back of my neck. It looks kind of like a circular maze, it's pretty sweet.

I have my daughters name tattooed on my wrist

I don't have one but I like it when momma's get their baby's footprint on them.

I'm going to be getting my daughter's first signature copied, and the asl sign for 'I love you' above that. I'm getting it done on my side.

I don't have any tattoos, but my neighbour has her 2 children's newborn footprints with their names and birthdates tattooed on the back of both shoulders (one on each side). The only problem she found was since they were done at different times (her kids are 4 years apart) that they couldn't get the footprints to look the same. The first done is a pretty uniform colour and the other one is lighter with a darker outline (I think at first it was just lighter and she went back to try and get it to match the other one better but they could just make the outline darker).

I saw an idea on one of yahoo's articles the other day that was super cute. When she gets older and is learning to write her name, take a copy in and have them tattoo it on you in her handwriting. I don't have a tattoo, and don't want one, but I think the artwork of it (mostly) beautiful. I have seen the footprint ones and I haven't seen any that I can say look super well done. You could get a heart with her name and DOB in it.

Not really unique but you could get her name tattooed on you. Or get a trace of her palm/hand somewhere. That would be cool, imo.
