How can I organize cot sheets at a daycare?

Cot-bed bedding, is it safe to do this?

  • My LO is 15 months and has slept with a baby quilt since she was 10 months old. I was wondering if it is safe to buy her a new duvet set, and sheets but made for a single bed? Her cot measures 70 x 140 cms, and single flat sheets fit better in there then cot-bed sheets. Could I buy her single bed duvet and duvet covers? She sleeps well with her quilt she has now and that is 4 tog, and I have found a nice anti-allergie single bed sized duvet which is 4 tog and a lot cheaper then a cotbed fitted one is. And I also found some very very pretty covers to go on them! Would it be safe? She rarely sleeps under her current quilt and would much rather sleep on top. She also loves her pillow! So would it be safe? My mum said she had me with a proper duvet at that age, and I'm still living lol.

    At 15 months she's past the fear of SIDs, she's a toddler and can roll over easily even in deep sleep if she needs to.

I gave my twins a normal single 4 tog duvet since they were 10 months old as the ones fitted for the cot were so expensive, I make sure most of the duvet is tucked under the matress so half of the duvet is under the mattress. They sleep happier with ther duvets I have also given them a pillow which they love. Hope this helps
