What does a dragon tattoo represent?

What tattoo should I get to represent....?

  • So right now I'm only sixteen so I have to wait a few more years but I really want to get a tattoo. I always tease my parents and tell them I'm going to get a tattoo that incorporates all the covers of the Twilight series but I wouldn't do that. When I get a tattoo I want something meaningful. I definitely want something to represent my three grandmothers (my mom's mom [Nana], my mom's grandma [Grandma], and my dad's mom [Avo)) I was very close with all three of them. I lost my nana about five years ago to ovarian cancer. My grandma passed away one year ago and my avo passed away two weeks later. Needless to say that was a tough month. Anyways within a week of each of them passing away I saw them in my dream's and I truly believe that that's their way of saying goodbye since I never got to say goodbye to any of them. I was thinking about maybe getting a dream catcher in the shape of a heart with three flowers next to it (each flower will represent each grandmother since it will be their favorite flowers) and the strings on the dream catcher will spell out Grandma, Nana and Vovo. I want it someplace easy to hide and not too big but also when I'm older I plan on having kids so I don't want it to get all stretched out and gross.     I like the idea of the three fave flowers to represent each of them. However, being that you don't want it too big, the dream catcher with the strings spelling their names wont be very pretty when small. I'd most likely get their flowers in some decorative format on one of my shoulder blades that way it can be covered with a shirt, a tank, etc. Any tattoo is gonna stretch with age, but that one wont really stretch and distort much. Hope it helps :)

I would suggest getting it in the middle of your back, between your shoulders.

that is a great idea!!! (i would have not come up with something better :)) hmm.... maybe get in on your back and you can cover it up with a sweater or with a t-shirt that goes all the way up. but when you want to show it you can wear a strapless dress or something. also make sure that when you get it it is not too large because usually when you get a tattoo on your back they make it real huge. hope this helped! ps. srry for your loss and please choose as best answer if helpful. ****if you want something cute but simple maybe get a heart and have their names written around the outside of it or on the inside and then for example if you had there names or whatever on the outside rim then on the inside of the heart you would write out something unique or something you loved about them and that you miss....or a quote. I think you should find someone who can draw really well and tell them...i was thinking you should get the breast cancer ribbon too..tell the person who can draw wat kind of ideas you have and see what they can come up wit..it might be better than your idea I also have an open question mayb u can help....check it out
