Why do people think 12 years old is young? do you know?

  • do you know? Because I remember being twelve like it was yesterday and I remember ithought sincerely that I wasnt young. But when people told me i was young, i was really surprised! I had no idea people thought 12 was young! And now im 14 and i still dont think 12 is young! And what surprises me even more is that people think 14 is young!! ! Why do people think like this? How can they even think like this??

    14 is young. Anything under 25 is young. You can't honestly say that a 12 year old is mature or grown up. I know what you mean, because I felt that way when I was 14. But I'm 17 now and I realize that 12 is very young, and that I'm still young.

Because 12 years old IS young. At 12, you're still a child, not even a teen yet. You've got your whole life ahead of you!

I think 12 is VERY VERY young. if you are talking maturity then yes some kids act older than others. you think 12 is old because your experience is only on a 14 year old scale. when you're 40 trust me, 12 is like still being a little kid. I think 14 and under are children, you're a teen at 15, adult at 20.

I'm 12. I skipped a grade, have straight A's, am cheer captain, take all honors classes, and have many friends. I also work out every day for two hours at cheer leading practice, and attend a middle school with difficult courses. I don't consider myself a child, but if pleases others to look at me that way, then let them. Plainly, I don't really care if they see me as a child or adult. Age is really just a number.
