What to get a freind for christmas?

I was at a christmas party tonight and noticed this alot do you?

  • is there anyone under 19-21 that does NOT drink beer or liquor? there were like a hundred or so people there alot them who were like 13-16 and they are doing shots drinking beer, having mixed drinks some people were going to the bathroom to do cocaine a freind told me and people smoking joints outside and some older guys were buying the beer and stuff for all of them apparently from what this one drunk guy told me who was hitting on me asking if I wanted him to get me a beer so me and my friend left now we are watching aquamarine on dvd. What happend to the days where people had punch (without boose in it) and did activities and listend to Chirstmas music not loud Rap music? does this happen to everyone elee also now when you go to a holiday christmas party with younger people?

    Nothing's wrong with loud rap music. I don't want to go to a party with christmas music being blasted the whole time, it gets annoying after a while. I don't drink, but I do have friends that do. I choose not to because it's against the law, and alcohol can be damaging on my mother's part of the family. The last time I went to a party there was a bunch of weed and drinking. I didn't have fun :/ I prefer sleepovers.

I don't go to parties with alcohol and drugs...mostly because I don't know anyone that would allow that. But I do know a group of girls at school who snuck Vodka into a dance outside of school, and recently they got in trouble for it. There's also another girl that smokes weed and cigarettes as well...I feel so sorry for them because it's ruining them.

Yeah, course their are people under 19/21 that do not drink... I'm just not one of them. I drink because I like it, it tastes good, and gives me an escape. I'd never do drugs, that's just not my thing. You left because a guy hit on you, and asked you for a drink? All you had to do was say no and walk away... I'd never pressure anyone in to drinking, sure I'd ask if I could get them anything out of politness, but I wouldn't be like "cmonnn, dont be a bore!".

its totally normal i'm 17 i go out every other weekend to some party get wasted on whiskey and and do a couple bong hits and i'm fine nothings wrong i always make it back to my friends place perfectly fine so you shouldn't be worried so relax take hit put down a couple shots and go home or to a friends house and stop thinking all this is wrong cuz little girl it soo normal but i do agree with the music you should be listening to x-mas music theres no better feeling than lighting up to the trans siberian orchestra have funz

many people consider it to be normal but i consider it to be extremely disturbing. I am totally with you it is so not right at all.

It is your choice how you choose to enjoy yourself. Young people tend to overdo things at parties. What you describe sounds like a "wild" party, not a Christmas party as such. You seem quite sensible deciding it was "not your scene" and going elsewhere. If you go to a party with more adults, they will have Christmas music, I'm sure.

it's pretty normal for kids in high school now, but if you don't like it you definately don't have to join them. just avoid parties if you don't want to get into that
