How does a 23 year old see an 18 year old?

• I have a friend who is 23. I am 18. Even though I look young for my age, I act very mature for my age, or at least people tell me that all the time. The 23 year old talks to me and hangs out with me like any 18 year old would. However, there is this 22 year old and I have a feeling she just sees me as a little kid, even though I do not act like one. I understand though because that is like me befriending a 14 year old. Most of my friends are older than me. So my question is, do those in their early 20's tend to see 18 year olds as immature, or if the 18 year old proves that they are mature will they be friends with me?

  I'm 18 and have a two friends who are 23. I act just the same as I do with my 18 year old friends, the age really makes no difference at all. You don't have to prove you're mature, one of my 23 year old friends is no more mature than I am.
