Can you bring cell phones to high school?

    It depends on the school. I don't think any school allows you to use one during normal school hours, but rules vary on whether you can have one at lunch, in study hall, etc. However, I think the most common rule is no cellphones during the day, period. Still, some schools (or teachers) are pretty lenient. For the most part, people can get away texting during lunch and study hall at my school. As for before and after school, you can have your phone. I don't think any school stops you from having a phone at school, given you're not using it during the day. Kids use phones for safety reasons, it's extremely unlikely they'll bust you for having a phone with you that you don't use.

Yes. You'll find out what they're rules are about them. Typically it's keep it on silent or vibrate and if you're going to text in class don't let the teacher see it. Some schools will let you have them out at lunch and things like that.

yeah at my school your aloud but it had to be on silent in class and If you get caught it gets taken off you till the end of the class|-)!

Yes you can, but where I live, if the teacher takes it away they give it to the principal, you get a detention (the time varies, depending on how many times you've gotten in trouble) and only your parents can get it back for you AFTER school is over.
