Whats the legal age to go out with someone over 20?

What are you people, retarded? There is no legal "dating" age and most places the age of consent is 16 or 17. Most of the states 16 or 17 is for any adult, but a few have it for only a select number of years older. No, this does not mean they can date someone under 21. I don't know where the heck some people got that from. Probably a warping of the law that says if you're under the AOC you can sleep with someone around 4 years older(romeo and Juliet) laws. I can't specifically state the law because EVERYTHING varies from state to state. Like here in NJ at 16 you can sleep with ANYONE as long as they aren't in a position of authority. I have heard people try to manipulate the hell out of that law saying it means as long as the person is under 22, under 21, they have parental consent...etc. It is just flat out 16 no parental consent needed. xxx Oh of course I get thumbs down from you idiots, but for anyone who actually knows anything about AOC laws this question is laughable. I just looked up the law for Nevada. It is sixteen. Stay off any legal advice websites, they just spew out utter garbage and the law is manipulated by whoever is writing the answer.

well it depends on what state u r in? in COlorado when you turn 16 you can date 10 years older under 16 is only 5 years older.

When you're 18 you can date anyone you want. As long as they're over 18 aswell ;D But the legal age of consent varies from state to state.
