Camp ideas to do at home.

Some good ideas to make my summer good?

  • Alright so I am a fifteen year old girl and I really wanted to have a good summer, but so far thats not happening. It's already June 21st and I feel like I wasted a lot of my summer so far. I dogwalk a few times a week and once in a while i have a dance team practice. I have a dance team camp at the end of July and I am going to my brother's wedding next week which is far away so we are staying at the destination for a week. Other than that, I have nothing planned and I feel like I sit at home watching tv all day and sometimes I'm just too tired to get up.... I love to shop, but I just don't have any money right now and I don't know how to get a lot. I don't know how to fill up my summer so I feel like I actually had a good summer this year. One of my trouble's is that my high school is an hour from where I live, (I go to a private school) so all of my friends are an hour away. I have a few friends here in my hometown, but idk its just not the same cause I really don't hang out with them anymore. I dog walk with one of them, which causes us to split our dog walking money so I don't even get very much so I can't go shopping and I have to pay back my parents for all of the itunes songs I keep buying. So what are some good ideas? I live in a small town and I love fashion and going shopping and hanging out with friends and stuff. I like the outdoors, but there isn't much around here to really go explore the outdoors in a small town. Pretty much everywhere pretty is private property. I just do'nt know what to do. I have been reading a little bit. And I love to cook and bake and I have already made a lot of homemade icecream.... What are some really really good ideas?

I feel the same way as you do, although my summer just started. About the money thing, how about you stop buying music from Itunes, and save it up! You could ask your parents if they could take you on a day trip, to like a museum or something? You could look up "What to do in ______(Enter where you live at or are staying at)" You said you like to cook and bake, which I love to do as well! But I am on a diet so I am stopping for awhile :/ Visit allrecipes.com , They have great recipes. I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer vacation! (:

I'm a college kid home for the summer, so I feel a little bored sometimes as well. Here's some suggestions (not all are fun, but at least you'll feel productive): -Clean your room. It sounds boring, but you may find yourself digging through old stuff you forgot you had. You'll also feel better once it's neat and organized (maybe). -Go through old clothes. Again, you may find clothes you forgot about or think of a new way to wear them. Donate clothes you don't like/have grown out of. -Meet up with your friends at a community pool. It's a cool idea to hang out and there might be boys... -Try to find a job. Few places will hire you at 15, but it never hurts to ask. If your parents know someone that owns a business, see if they can hook you up with a part-time job. -Make a deal with your parents. Mow the lawn, do laundry, clean, or other chores in exchange for cash. Then save up your money to go shopping, go to the movies, or an amusement park. -If you have money, try to spend it wisely! Go to discount stores like Plato's Closet and Gabriel Bros. instead of Hollister - you'll find cute stuff for a fraction of the name brand. Also, check out online shopping. Sign up for their email alerts and you can get percentage discounts, saving you more money. -Go to local parks. Take a jog, have a picnic, or go fishing with friends. -Volunteer work! Check out animal shelters, churches, or food banks to get involved. This is also a wonderful resume builder and a good reference for the future. -Have a movie marathon. Watch chick flicks, classics, trilogies, whatever...you can often get rentals cheap nowadays. It's an easy, inexpensive way to get together with friends. Hope this helps.
