How can I practice soccer at home?

How to convice your parents to let you play soccer and take the bus to practice?

  • I was asked to practice with a travel soccer team twice a week from 430-630 and 6-730. My mom doesn't want me to go to practice because she doesn't think it's safe for me to take the bus to practice amd home, but she refuses to take me and my dad is away a lot. The bus drops me off right down the block from practice, it is light out and there are a lot of people. Any way I could convince her because i can't miss practices if I want to make the team?

    Tell her that it's overprotectiveness like this that leads to many problems of youth today, and of society. Or, if worst comes to worst, threaten to kill yourself (but don't really kill yourself, that would be bad)

First off I'm sure I could help you more if I knew how old you were. But the main fact is your that your mom said no. I'm sure you means no and nothing you can do can change her mind. Whining, nagging and bothering her about it will not help her change her mind either. It will just prove to her that is right about feeling it isn't safe or old enough to do this.
