How can u tell if someone is jealous?

How can you tell the differences between someone who dislikes you, and someone who is jealous of you?

  • she and her group of friends -gossips about me - laughs when they see me - STARE AT ME ALL THE TIME - roll their eyes when i have eye contact one of their boyfriends liked me too...but why would their whole group hate me..?

    There's a difference? If they spend that much energy on you it is a combination of active hate and jealousy, but most of all rivalry, going on. Somehow you are a threat, whether it is status, grades, boys, oh - it's the boyfriend and you are a rival so you are a threat which means it is not hate nor jealously but fear and rivalry, this makes them dangerous. The whole group is merely guarding the one whose boyfriend was into you.

teenage girls are so cruel. i'm sure i wasn't the nicest in school, but good god it seems like people are getting bitchier and meaner everyday. those girls are jealous. don't degrade yourself by getting on their pitiful level. the one whose bf liked you obviously is the trouble maker and her friends are so thoughtless they follow other girls lead making them look jealous. the other girls probably really dont give a crap about you.. no offense. they are just trying to make jealous ***** happy. hey keep your chin up and just smile back, but don't talk about them!
